"Next Is the E" was released on 28 October 1992. While failing to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, it was a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, peaking at number 8. It was featured on the soundtrack of the 1992 film Cool World.
In the UK, the track was renamed I Feel It, due to record company's concerns over what appeared to be a drug reference. It peaked at #33 in the UK.
