The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) is the department of the Government of New York City responsible for enforcing the city's consumer protection laws, licensing businesses in 55 different industries, paid sick leave law, commuter benefits law, mediating consumer complaints, and participating in consumer education. Its regulations are compiled in title 6 of the New York City Rules. Bill de Blasio appointed Julie Menin, the currect commissoner.

The duties were performed by the Commissioner of Public Markets until 1968. Bess Myerson was appointed by mayor John Lindsay as the first commissioner of the renamed agency in 1969.
