Netherthird
Netherthird is the last village in East Ayrshire before New Cumnock, Scotland, it features a primary school. Two small grocery shops with limited stock, a Fish and Chip Shop that close at 8pm during the week, and at 4pm on a Sunday, there is also an excellent Take out called 'The Filling Station' that is more amenable to opening and closing times. There is also a Factory Store, that sells fancy goods rather than household needs. There is no train service, and a very little bus service, and it is quite expensive to travel even the shortest distance. £10 for an all day ticket, and £30 for a weekly megarider (Source: First Bus)
