The National Oil Corporation of Kenya is a state corporation of Kenya founded by Act of Parliament in 1981, with a mandate of participating in all aspects of the Kenyan petroleum industry; it is 100% owned by the Kenyan government. The company is known as National Oil or as "NOCK". Main offices are located in Nairobi.
The company is involved in upstream activities such as exploration, geological research, and production; and in downstream activities such as maintenance of a petroleum products retail network.
National Oil operates 110 service stations across Kenya.
