Nathan Mack (born 15 April 2007) is a British child actor who is known for portraying Tyler in 2014's Babylon and Chip Potts in the 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. He attends Stagecoach Performing Arts School for children, which also helped him land the role.
Nathan Mack was born on April 15, 2007 in England. He currently lives in Great Dunmow with his parents. He attends Stagecoach Performing Arts School for children in Chelmsford where he has been a student since he was five. For the role of Chip his teachers put him forward for the audition. Nathan states that although it was nerve-wracking it was a enjoyable experience. He also says that they try to make you feel comfortable before the audition, he exclaims that when they were having a conversation they made him laughed. He ended up doing two auditions and when his mother told him that he won he didn't believe her because he was so overwhelmed. He was selected to become Chip by Beauty and the Beast's Casting Director, Lucy Bevan. He stated that working and meeting with all the actors was was what he loved most about the film. For his dream role Nathan wants to play either Doctor Who or James Bond.
