The N-class was a class of 10 trams. Built by Duncan & Fraser, Adelaide for the Hawthorn Tramways Trust as 11-20, all passed to the Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board on 2 February 1920 when it took over the HTT becoming the N-class and being renumbered 117-126.
In 1945, 117 was sold for further use on the Ballarat network being joined by 124 in 1947. Number 123 was sold to Bendigo in 1956, while 118, 120, 122, 126 were sold to Geelong in 1947 being joined by 119 in 1948.
