Mzi Godfrey Khumalo (born 1955) is a South African businessman and mining entrepreneur.
After serving 12 years on Robben Island alongside figures such as Nelson Mandela for his anti-apartheid activities, Mzi has built a corporate empire which encompasses mining, financial services and infrastructure industries and has served on a number of company boards.
He has held the position of Chairman at various companies including JCI Limited, Capital Alliance Holdings Limited and Point Waterfront Corporation.
He is also former Non-Executive Director of Mintek, Telkom SA, McCarthy Retail Limited, Ridge Mining and Anglo American Corporation and is a Trustee of the World Wildlife Fund.
Mzi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa.
He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Metallon Corporation. Additionally, he has interests in the telecommunications industry.
