Mynampati Bhaskar (1945–2013) was a writer and a journalist from Andhra Pradesh. His works include short stories, novels, news articles, movie reviews and children stories. He was also a cartoonist. Adventure, science fiction, social issues, history, and humor are his primary genres. He wrote 30 novels and more than 100 short stories. Some of his novels are preserved in Washington Library, Chicago, Illinois.

He died on 4 June 2013 while undergoing treatment in Care Hospital, Hyderabad.

He was born on 27 October 1945 in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his school education in Kurnool Municipal School, and Coles Memorial High School. He received a bachelors from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He worked in Employee Insurance Corporation for 20 years before taking a voluntary retirement to concentrate more on writing.

Buddhi Jeevi (The intelligent) is one of his famous novels. His novel Vennela Metlu (Steps of Moonlight) was made into a film, Aruna Kiranam by film director Muthyala Subbaiah.
