Musunuri Kapaya Nayaka (also known as Musunuri Kapaya Naidu, Musunuri Kaapaaneedu, Krishna Nayaka and Kanya Nayaka) was a leader of a confederacy of several sovereign Telugu nobles who united to liberate Telugu country from Muslim rule and protect Hindu dharma. He ruled from Warangal in modern-day Telangana between 1327-1370 CE. As with other Musunuri Nayaks, there is little information concerning him in the historical record, and the lives of the Musunuris in general are often described as "obscure".
