Marvin Leonardo "Mouth" McFadden is a fictional character on the CW television series One Tree Hill, portrayed by Lee Norris. A sports news anchor who attended Tree Hill High School, Mouth was a member of the gang who played basketball at the River Court, commentating on the games with Jimmy Edwards. However, like Lucas and Haley, he eventually became embroiled in the world of the popular clique.
Rocked by the death of Jimmy during the school shooting, Mouth refused to allow people to think of Jimmy as a monster. Mouth is commonly seen as a friend or "little brother" by girls whom he likes, such as Brooke Davis, Rachel Gatina, and Shelley Simon. After graduating college, however, he found love with Millie, Brooke's assistant from the New York branch of Clothes Over Bros. Although their relationship has been strained at times, Mouth and Millie currently live together in Tree Hill and host a morning show.
Mouth McFadden is one of Lucas Scott's friends from the River Court, known for commentating on the games with Jimmy Edwards. As the series progressed, Mouth began to develop a major crush on Brooke Davis, Lucas's ex-girlfriend and head cheerleader. During the Boy Toy auction, Mouth is the DJ and Brooke ends up buying him at the highest price, although she then tries to trade him. He and Brooke then go to a strip-club by a limo, but when they leave Brooke starts to cry and Mouth tries to comfort her and tell her Lucas is a good guy and good friend. But she also tells him that all girls want is someone to love them back.
Mouth's crush on Brooke continues to grow throughout the second season. As their friendship grows as well, tensions also rise due to Brooke's (and later boyfriend) Felix Taggaro after the latter claimed to have looked after Brooke all night when it was actually Mouth. Since Mouth didn't take credit for buying Brooke's dollhouse, Felix did, which angered Mouth to the point that he smashes Brooke's car window, for which she blames Felix. When Mouth reveals the truth to her, he and Brooke quit speaking to one another until Mouth gives a speech to the entire school during Brooke's campaign for student body president, telling them how good of a friend she is. Due to Brooke's continued platonic feelings toward Mouth, going as far to call him a "little brother," Mouth helps Anna break into the school's time capsule so she can change her video, where she revealed her bisexuality. At the end of the season, Mouth begins to date Erica Marsh, who was Brooke's opposing candidate in the student election.
