Mounts Bay RFC were a Cornish rugby club formed in December 1999 based in Penzance, England, and who folded in July 2009. Initially formed as an offshoot from Penzance and Newlyn RFC the club operated as an independent club. Mounts Bay were promoted at the end of the 2007-08 season and competed in National Division Two in the 2008-09 season. However, in the Summer of 2009 the club folded citing financial problems and withdrew from the league structure altogether.

Mounts Bay quick rise ended with their only relegation. It was soon followed by an AGM in July 2009 that confirmed they were to fold after the possibility of sharing with Redruth RFC broke down and they were left with large debts and little assets.

In their first time in the National Leagues, Mounts Bay Rugby Football Club finished first in National Division Three South and were again promoted, their eighth promotion in nine seasons, to play in National Division Two during the 2008/09 season. In addition to the league championship Mounts Bay also won the Cornwall Super Cup.

Mounts Bay had a successful year. They were promoted to the National Leagues, finishing as champions of Southwest 1 with three games to play. The team reached two finals; the Cornwall County Cup where they lost to Redruth. On Sunday 15 April, Bay made their only visit to Twickenham for the EDF Energy Intermediate Cup Final against former winners Dunstablians. Mounts Bay won the match.
