Mountain Crest High School (MCHS), located in Hyrum, Utah, is a public high school. As part of the Cache County School District, it serves students in the 9th through 12th grades in Cache County.
Mountain Crest incorporates classes from Bridgerland Applied Technology College. These classes are only available to juniors and seniors. In the mornings and afternoons, these classes take up two hours and count as one full class credit instead of the normal .5 credit assigned for classes.
Mountain Crest has a Model United Nations team, which took the top two awards at the Regional High School Model United Nations 2007. Mountain Crest's Scholastic Olympiad team also places in competition every year.
For consecutive years, Mountain Crest ranked among the highest in education and efficiency and comprehension levels in the state of Utah. Many students from Mountain Crest also graduate with their associate degree.
The baseball team and girls' cross country team won the 4A state championships.
The boys' swim team won the class 4A championship in the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years.
The football team has won state three times, in 1987, 2001, and 2005.
The wrestling team won the 4A state championship in 2002, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
