This is a list of the most played football rivalries in NCAA Division I. The Minnesota–Wisconsin football rivalry is the most played Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) rivalry at 126 games. However, the Lehigh–Lafayette rivalry, both members of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), is the most played in Division I at 152 games.
Rivalries listed here are not necessarily continuous: several longstanding rivalries played by the Nebraska Cornhuskers were interrupted after the 2010 season by the team's move from the Big 12 Conference to the Big Ten as of the 2011 season. In addition to Nebraska-Kansas, Nebraska-Iowa State, and Nebraska-Missouri, several other rivalries were affected by the 2010–2014 NCAA conference realignment. These include Missouri-Kansas and Iowa State-Missouri due to Missouri's move to the SEC, Texas-Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Baylor due to A&M's move to the SEC, and Pitt-WVU due to Pitt's move to the ACC and WVU's move to the Big 12.
Conversely, Baylor-TCU returned to being a conference game after TCU joined the Big 12, and Oklahoma-Kansas is once again an annual game after Big 12 scheduling changes.
