Moses Kuria

Moses Kuria Is the current member of Parliament for Gatundu South 2013-2017 term. He was elected unopposed to the position after it was announced vacant following death of Hon Jossy Ngugi who was elected to represent the people of Gatundu South on TNA party ticket.

Unlike his predecessor, Kuria was not elected but was directly appointed by IEBC, following controversial stepping aside by potential candidates like Kiarie Kamere who was like preferred by constituents, it later emerged that Kuria was highly backed by state house. Kuria has been among the most controversial MPs in the 11th parliament who does not shy from controversy.

Moses Kuria is infamously known to fuel animosity between Kikuyus of Kenya and other less populous tribes. Kuria is what socio-economic equity advocates term as the germ that infected the Rwandan social fabric. Moses Kuria has been i and out of the Kenyan high courts for fueling animosity between Kikuyus and non-kikuyus of Kenya.
