Montverde is a town in Lake County, Florida, United States. The population was 882 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 942[1]. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km2), of which 1.6 square miles (4.1 km2) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) (11.80%) is water.
