Mondure is a town and a locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.

The town takes its name from the railway station name, which was in turn assigned on 11 January 1918, from the name of a pastoral run taken up in 1844 by Richard Jones, which used a Waka language word, mondhur meaning small ant. The railway station name was previously called Koobli Original railway station name was Kooblinga (assigned on 23 February 1917), changed at the request of the Mondure Branch of the Queensland Farmers Union.
