Mojtín (Hungarian: Hegyesmajtény) is a village and municipality in Púchov District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia. László Skultéty, the oldest Hungarian hussar, was born here.
The name is derived from the Slavic personal name Mojtech with the possessive suffix -in.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1364 (Moite).
The municipality lies at an altitude of 636 metres and covers an area of 10.842 km². It has a population of about 575 people.
