Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and Her Amazing Story of Healing is a memoir written by an American author Christy Beam, released on April 14, 2015. The author wrote the book about her own sick daughter Annabel Beam.
The book is about the author's 10-year-old daughter Annabel Beam, who had a stomach disorder which would eventually cause death. After a visit home when climbing a tree with her older sister a branch gave way, sending Annabel falling 30 feet down headfirst into a cottonwood tree. She is was in the tree for several hours, until finally being rescued. She was then taken to a hospital. She was unconscious. Yet she woke up she was in no pain. She had no internal damage and her disease was somehow cured. Her doctors then took her off her medication and she had no pain.
Sony Pictures Entertainment has produced a film adaptation, starring Jennifer Garner, Kylie Rogers, Queen Latifah, Martin Henderson, and Eugenio Derbez. It is directed by Patricia Riggen and scripted by Randy Brown.
