The current Minister of Health of Malaysia is Dr. Subramaniam Sathasivam, who has held the office since 16 May 2013. He is supported by the Deputy Minister of Health, Hilmi Yahaya. Dr. Subramaniam also serves as a Member of Parliament for the Segamat District in the state of Johor (2004–present) and as the Vice President of the Malaysian Indian Congress (September 2009 – present).
