Miles William Wood (born September 13, 1995) is an American professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League (NHL). Wood was drafted by the Devils in the 4th round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Following the 2015–16 season, his freshman year with Boston College in the Hockey East, Wood ended his collegiate career in signing a three-year entry-level contract with the New Jersey Devils on April 8, 2016. He made his NHL debut for the Devils the following night on April 9, 2016, against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Wood's father Randy was an NHL player from 1986 to 1997. He played for the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs and Dallas Stars.
