Michael Taylor (born February 15, year unknown) is best known for his work as a writer for both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. His DS9 credits include the episodes "The Visitor", "Things Past", "Resurrection" and "In the Pale Moonlight", which was controversial for challenging some of Star Trek's utopian ideas.
In the third season of Ronald D. Moore's re-working of Battlestar Galactica he joined the crew as a supervising producer and writer.
Taylor also worked as a producer and writer on the USA Network series The Dead Zone. In 2002, Michael Taylor was nominated for a Nebula Award, which is given by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, for writing a Dead Zone episode entitled "Unreasonable Doubt".
