Michael Corbett is a two time Emmy Winning American actor, television correspondent, Broadway actor, host of NBC's Extra's Mansions and Millionaires. He is perhaps best known for his work starring in 3 daytime soap operas. He is also a real estate investor
Two Time Emmy Winner Corbett began his career on Broadway. Just 2 weeks out of college at the Boston Conservatory of Music, Michael landed a role in the Broadway Musical Nefertiti starring Andrea Marcoucci. Directed by Jack O'Brian. He then went on to play Kenicki in Grease, and the Broadway Production of Come Back Little Sheba starring Shirley Knight and Philip Bosco. He also starred Off-Broadway with Liz Callaway and Karen Mason in The Matinee Kids
While on Broadway, Corbett was cast as Michael Pavel Jr. on Ryan's Hope, by a casting director who had seen him in a play. He would play Michael Pavel Jr. for 177 episodes over three years, from 1979-1981.
He played Warren Carter on Search for Tomorrow from 1982 to 1985, and he later portrayed secretary-turned-murderer David Kimble on The Young and the Restless from 1986 to 1991. He currently hosts segments for the entertainment television show Extra. He also played Logan's father, Malcolm Reese, on Zoey 101.
Corbett has also guest starred on numerous television series including The King of Queens, Star Trek: The Next Generation (playing Dr. Rabal) and Zoey 101, as Logan’s father.
Michael Is currently a correspondent/ Host on the #1 rated NBC National Entertainment News Program EXTRA! and is the Host and Senior Producer of NBC's EXTRA's Mansions and Millionaires. Michael also currently stars in the Emmy winning digital drama Venice the Series.
As a producer, Michael is also the Executive Producer of E!'s hit Reality TV Series: Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry. He also created and executive produced Mansion Hunters for the Reelz channel.
Michael Corbett is the Real Estate and Lifestyle correspondent of NBC’s nationally syndicated news magazine Extra. Utilizing his background in real estate, home, and lifestyle, Corbett also hosts and produces NBC’s Extra’s Mansions & Millionaires!, Extra’s weekend show.
