Michael "Elvis" Baskette is an American music producer who has worked with Alter Bridge (Blackbird, AB III, Fortress and The Last Hero), Tremonti (All I Was, Cauterize and Dust) Chevelle (Vena Sera, This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In)), Slash (World on Fire), Falling in Reverse (Just Like You), Trivium (Silence in the Snow).

Graduated in 1997 University of Southern California for Music Business and Sound Recording. Worked in NRG Recording Studios in Hollywood under Jay Baumgardner during college. Started out as an engineer, recording bands such as Stone Temple Pilots and Static-X in the late 90s. He eventually worked up to being a producer, and now owns his own studio, Paint it Black Studio, in Florida. The studio started out as Studio Barbarosa South, in Orlando.
