Dawood is a natural winger, who play striker or playmaker. Skillful player because of his technical fast and natural ability. He is a quick player and delive assist. He has a good technical free kick. He played in a lot of country which allowed him to have various experiences.

Dawood began playing football at an early age in his hometown club, the ASCC Chelles. He was spotted at 13 by AJ Auxerre but he leaves the family nest at 14 to join the sports study CS Meaux and the training center of Paris Saint Germain.

Dawood began his career at Sporting Club of Amiens, training center that offers him his first professional contract in 2003. He signs his professional contract under Denis Troch's orders he will play it only a match of cup of the league against Troyes. Arrived in extra time, he qualify his team with his penalty during the session of shots in the purpose . Alex Dupont's arrival will push him then towards the exit.

In 2005, he signed with Belgium club FC Brussels. For his first experience outside France, the young Frenchman will be coached by a French trainer: Albert Cartier. He will be positioned in attack in the side of Igor de Camargo. A fusion with the public of Molembeek will make of him a player important of the team in spite of its young age, a full season for the young football player because he will register 6 goals for 28 played matches. His purpose against the Standard of Liège will stay as a purpose of exception. Indeed, He offers the victory and the preservation of his team because he beat Vedran Runje after a running of 40 meters

For his first experience in a big club, he discovers the rigor of the high level. After a preparation. He will be tenured for the first championship game. He will register his only goal in Turkey. The turn over established by his trainer and his young age will make him leave the team

Back in Belgium, the young striker starts a new good start in Belgium. He will repositioned on the left-hand side by Marc Brys because of the increase in power of Demba Ba, he has a role of starter on the side which allows him to put his speed and his technical quality in obvious fact, with behind him David Grondin. Dawood flourishes in this team where many French evolve Karim Fellahi, Jean-Félix Dorothée, Kevin Hatchi and will be teammates. He finishes better passer of this championship. The mouscronnoise direction decides to separate from Marc Brys, what young French does not tolerate.
