The Metroparks of the Toledo Area are a series of twelve parks in the Toledo, Ohio area.

The parks currently contain nearly a third of the rare plant species in Ohio. While the mission and programming relating to the care and education of nature, the parks also routinely offer programs relating to state history and area culture.
In addition to these parks, the Metroparks encompass three bicycle trails:
The Metroparks consist of over 10,000 acres (4,000 hectares) of land, which span a wide variety of land types. They also include over 4,000 acres (1,600 hectares) of the Oak Openings Region of Ohio, an area located along what used to be the western edge of Lake Erie.
