The Mayo Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised since 1923 by Mayo GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Mayo, Ireland. The winner is awarded the TJ Tyrrell Cup and qualifies to represent the county in the Connacht Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship.
The roll of honour is led by Tooreen. Their East Mayo rivals Ballyhaunis have had the upper hand since securing their first championship in 2002, however Tooreen are the current (2017) title holders, having defeated Ballyhaunis in the final.
