According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,295 people, 912 households, and 667 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,049.8 people per square mile (404.6/km²). There were 941 housing units at an average density of 430.4/sq mi (165.9/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.34% White, 0.52% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.74% Asian, 0.39% from other races, and 0.78% from two or more races.
