Matthew McQueen, better known by his stage name Matthewdavid, is an American record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He is based in Los Angeles, California. He is a co-founder of Leaving Records. He has collaborated with Dog Bite, Sun Araw, and Serengeti.
Matthewdavid released the solo debut album, Outmind, on Brainfeeder in 2011.Consequence of Sound gave the album 4 out of 5 stars, while Resident Advisor gave it 2 and a half out of 5. He released Davis with rapper Serengeti on Leaving Records later that year.
