Masonville Township is a civil township of Delta County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,734 at the 2010 census, down from 1,877 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 170.4 square miles (441 km2), of which 167.7 square miles (434 km2) is land and 2.7 square miles (7.0 km2) (1.61%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,877 people, 771 households, and 548 families residing in the township. The population density was 11.2 per square mile (4.3/km²). There were 1,143 housing units at an average density of 6.8 per square mile (2.6/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 94.14% White, 0.05% African American, 3.14% Native American, 0.37% Asian, 0.32% from other races, and 1.97% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.43% of the population.
There were 771 households out of which 28.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.7% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.8% were non-families. 25.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 2.87.
