The Maryland Terrapins men's lacrosse team represents the University of Maryland in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I lacrosse as a member of the Big Ten Conference (B1G). They have traveled to 19 final fours since 1975 without winning a championship. Maryland was a founding member of the Atlantic Coast Conference before withdrawing on July 1, 2014. Since 1924, Maryland has secured numerous national and conference championship honors, including two NCAA tournament championships, eight Wingate Memorial Trophy titles and one United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association championship. Maryland is the only major college lacrosse team to have never finished a season with a losing record.

Since 1922, a total of 110 first-team All-American honors have been bestowed upon Maryland players. Six Terrapins have received All-American honors each of their four years. Frank Urso is one of just four college players to be named a first-team All-American all four years.Johns Hopkins, located nearby in Baltimore, is considered the Terrapins' rival in lacrosse. The two schools have played more than 100 times since the series began in 1895, and members of the media and fans widely consider it the "greatest rivalry" in college lacrosse. In 2015, the rivalry shifts to the inaugural season of lacrosse sponsorship by the Big Ten Conference, which welcomed both Maryland and Johns Hopkins as new members (the Blue Jays in men's lacrosse only).
