The Maryland Eagles are a currently a semi-professional indoor football team based in Laurel, Maryland. They were members of the Major Indoor Football League (MIFL) through 2016, and the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Football League from 2017 onward. In 2013, the Eagles were also a full time member of American Indoor Football (AIF), a professional league. They continued to play away games as a part time member in the AIF from 2014 to 2016 until the league ceased operations in July 2016 while also playing in the MIFL full time. In 2013 and 2014, the team was known as the Washington Eagles.
