"Marvin (Patches)" is the eighth single by Titãs, released in 1988. The song is a rearranged version of Clarence Carter's hit "Patches", written by Ron Dunbar and General Johnson. It tells the story of Marvin, a young agriculturist whose father dies, and leaves him a difficult mission: to support his family. A later acoustic recording of the song, featured on the album Titãs - Acústico MTV became a huge success in Brazil.
