Martin Gorick

Martin Charles William Gorick (born Liverpool, 23 June 1962) has been Archdeacon of Oxford since 2013

Gorick was educated at West Bridgford Comprehensive School; Selwyn College, Cambridge; and Ripon College Cuddesdon . He was ordained in 1988 and was Curate of Birtley, Tyne and Wear until 1991 when he was appointed Domestic Chaplain to the Bishop of Oxford. He was Vicar of Smethwick from 1994 until 2001; and Rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon from 2001 until his appointment as Archdeacon.
