Martell is a town in Pierce County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,070 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated communities of Martell and Morton Corner are located in the town. The unincorporated community of Lawton is also located partially in the town.
The town is located where U.S. Route 63 crosses the Rush River.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.8 square miles (92.8 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,070 people, 382 households, and 297 families residing in the town. The population density was 29.9 people per square mile (11.5/km²). There were 391 housing units at an average density of 10.9 per square mile (4.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.16% White, 0.19% African American, 0.28% Asian, 0.09% from other races, and 0.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.28% of the population.
There were 382 households out of which 39.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.1% were married couples living together, 4.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.0% were non-families. 16.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
