The Marrku–Wurrugu languages are a possible language family of Australian Aboriginal languages spoken in the Cobourg Peninsula region of Western Arnhem Land. They are Marrgu, with one remaining speaker as of 2011, and extinct Wurrugu. They had once been lumped in with the Iwaidjan languages, but Evans (2006) found the evidence for Marrgu was insufficient, with similarities possibly due to borrowing. Evans (1996) had found that Warrugu resembled Marrgu rather than other putative Iwaidjan languages.
