Marius Ormestad (13 December 1874 – 28 May 1964) was a Norwegian trade unionist and civil servant.
Ingvald Marius Ormestad was born at Våle in Vestfold, Norway. He chaired the Norwegian Union of Iron and Metalworkers from 1898 to 1909. Political he belonged to the Labour Party, of which he was vice chairman from 1903 to 1906. From 1902 to 1907 he served as a representative on Oslo City Council, and from 1905 he sat in the presidency. Ormestad was manager of the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Insurance (Tryg) from 1911 to 1944 and was a board member from 1935 to 1942. He edited Insurance magazine senere kalt Sosial Trygd from 1912 to 1945. He was decorated Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 1938, and was Knight of the Order of Vasa and of the Order of Dannebrog.
