Marie Chatardová (born 6 March 1963) is a Czech diplomat and temporary president of the ECOSOC, elected in July 2017 for one year.
She was previously the Czech Ambassador to Sweden and then, from 2010 to 2016 to France and Monaco.
After graduating from Masaryk University in Brno, she joined the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994 working in the Analysis and Planification Department. In 2000 she became Head of Communication Strategy, two years later, she arrived in Sweden as Ambassador. From 2007, she ran Protocol Department in Prague and then acted as Ambassador to France between 2010 and 2016. Afterwards, she became a permanent representative of the Czech Republic to the United Nations.
She is married to Benoít Chatard and has three children.
