Margaret Erskine of Dun

Margaret Erskine of Dun was born in 1772, daughter of John Erskine and Mary Baird. She married Archibald Kennedy 1st Marquess of Ailsa Order of the Thistle, FRS on 1 June 1793. Margaret inherited the House of Dun, a Georgian house, in 1824.

Margaret Erskine of Dun is the title given to the painting by William Owen which can be found on the first floor of Culzean Castle.
