Mareks Mejeris (born September 2, 1991) is a Latvian professional basketball player, who plays the small forward and power forward position. He currently plays for French team VEF Rīga.
He started his pro career in 2009 with his hometown team BK Liepājas Lauvas and after couple of seasons there he moved to Spain. His first team abroad was CB Clavijo from LEB Gold where he played two seasons. After 2012-13 season Mejeris went to USA for NBA pre-draft workouts, but went undrafted.
In August 2013, he signed with Fuenlabrada of the Liga ACB. During mid-season he was loaned to Ford Burgos where he helped team to win LEB Gold playoffs and earn promotion to Liga ACB.
On July 15, 2014, he signed to VEF Rīga of Latvian League. Mejeris finished the season strong by helping VEF Rīga to win the LBL championship that led him to LBL playoffs MVP award.
He represented Latvia national team in EuroBasket 2011 and Eurobasket 2013.
