The Marala-Ravi link canal is a canal that flows from the Marala Headworks on River Chenab at Sialkot to the Ravi river. The canal was designed to carry 22000 cusec of irrigation water. The banks of the canal have no fencing and are in dilapidated condition as they have not been repaired since its construction in 1954. During initial filling of Baglihar Dam in 2008, the canal was closed due to non availability of water. The banks of the canal were breached in 2014 floods.
