María Lilja Þrastardóttir (born 1 September 1986) is an Icelandic journalist, author and an Icelandic women’s rights campaigner/activist. María is the founder of the Icelandic Slut Walk. She's also the author of Iceland's bestseller book Ástarsögur íslenskra kvenna. the book is based on true love stories from modern women.

She is engaged to Orri Páll Dýrason, the drummer for Sigur Rós. Together they have four children: Vaka, Dýri, Kría and Stormur.
