Manhattan Day School, often called MDS, is a Modern Orthodox Jewish yeshiva elementary school located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It was founded in 1943. The school has an early childhood department in addition to serving students grades K-8. It also offers a summer camp for children ages 3 – 7, and a science camp for first, second, and third grade students. The school has afterschool and enrichment programs, including softball, karate, ballet, dance, art, E2K, and the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth.
