Mama is the debut album by Nomeansno. Recorded in 1982 by brothers John and Rob Wright, the album was initially available with a limited number of 500 vinyl pressings. After being re-released on limited-run cassette, the album was re-mastered and properly released on CD format in 1992 on the band's Wrong Records imprint, containing four additional tracks taken from their 1981 release, the Betrayal, Fear, Anger, Hatred EP. Mama was yet again re-released in 2004 containing two early video recordings of the brothers performing the songs, "Rich Guns" and "Forget Your Life" on public broadcast TV in 1981.
