Maikel Scheffers (7 September 1982) is a Dutch wheelchair tennis player. He plays single and double events. Scheffers was born with a spina bifida. He lives in Dorst.

Scheffers took part of the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing. He won a bronze medal for the wheelchair men singles. He lost with Ronald Vink in the doubles the game for the bronze medal against Shingo Kunieda and Satoshi Saida.

In 2011 he won his first singles Grand slam at Roland Garros. In 2012 he won his second singles Grand slam at the Australian open.
