Mahendra Perera is a Sri Lankan film, television and stage actor. Perera studied at Thurstan College. He started his career in the 1993 film Nelum Ha Samanmalee , and rose to prominence in 2004 by playing the male lead in the highly successful film Mille Soya, and later the 2008 film Machan. Mahendra Perera studied at Thurstan College, Colombo.
