Margaret Ann Throup (born 27 January 1957) is a British Conservative Party politician.
Margaret Throup was born on 27 January 1957. She graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Biology.
Throup stood for Colne Valley in 2005 and for Solihull in 2010, narrowly losing each time.
Throup has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Erewash since May 2015.
