Maëva Coucke (born 27 June 1994) is a French model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss France 2018. She will represent France in Miss Universe 2018.
Coucke was born in Fougères, Ille-et-Vilaine on 27 June 1994. Her father is a gendarme, while her mother, Brigitte Wagon, is a family assistant originally from Avesnes-sur-Helpe. She is a natural blonde, but has been dying her hair red since 2016.
Coucke was raised in the village of Ferques in Pas-de-Calais. She has an older sister named Victoria, and a twin sister named Alizée. Couke attended high school in Saint-Martin-Boulogne, and later received a BTS in international law. She is currently studying for her law degree at Lille 2 University of Health and Law in order to become a corporate lawyer.
Coucke began her pageantry career in 2013, when she was crowned Miss Boulogne 2013. She later was crowned Miss Foire Expo 2014, and also was a runner-up in Miss Mining Country and Miss South Opal Coast. In October 2016, Coucke was crowned Miss Pévèle 2016 and was given the right to compete in the Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2017 competition.
On 23 September 2017, she went on to be crowned Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2017 in Orchies and received the right to represent Nord-Pas-de-Calais in Miss France 2018. Coucke went on to win the competition, and was crowned Miss France 2018. She is the third woman from Nord-Pas-de-Calais to win the title, following Miss France 2016 Iris Mittenaere and Miss France 2015 Camille Cerf.
