Lydia is a census-designated place (CDP) in Iberia Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 1,079 at the 2000 census. It is part of the New Iberia Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Lydia is located at 29°55′7″N 91°46′52″W / 29.91861°N 91.78111°W (29.918553, -91.780996).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2), all of it land.
