Luna Maya Sugeng (born August 26, 1983) is an Indonesian soap opera actress, singer and movie star of Indonesian and Austrian descent. She started her career as an advertising and catwalk model.
Luna began her career as a model. Her first acting job was a supporting role in the film 30 Hari Mencari Cinta (2004). This is Luna's first role as an antagonist. Although a small role in the film, Luna was considered a success. This was followed by a supporting role in Brownies in 2005. She has appeared in Indonesian advertising campaigns for Lux, XL and Toshiba.
She appears in the film Cinta Silver with Rima Melati and Catherine Wilson. Luna also starred in several Ruang, Jakarta Undercover, and Pesan Dari Surga. She received a nomination for Citra Award for Best Leading Actress at the 2006 Indonesian Film Festival. Luna's movie titled In the Name of Love, was directed by Rudy Soedjarwo. Dewi Sandra and Sandra Dewi, Luna contributed her voice in Euro 2008's theme song titled "Play".
During this period she also appeared on the soap operas Dan, Kau Dan Aku, Ada Cinta, Rahasiaku and Anggun. She was selected as one of the torchbearers in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
