"Love Shy (Thinking About You)" (often shortened to Love Shy) is the second single by UK bassline group Platnum. It was released after the success of "What's It Gonna Be" with H "Two" O.
It is a cover version of Danish singer Kristine Blond's 1997 hit "Love Shy", the Club Asylum remix of the track became a UK Garage club classic. The theme of the song discusses incelibacy and overcoming it.
The original version of "Love Shy" had been given a bassline makeover by the respected DJ/producer Shaun 'Banger' Scott at the end of 2007. The remix was well received in the bassline scene, this is possibly the reason that Platnum decided to produce their own version.
On October 5, 2008, the song entered the UK Singles Chart at #20 on downloads alone and peaked at #12.
